As well as services four times a week, and Bubble Church and Family Worship once a month, there are regular social events open to the community. The church puts on well-supported events like the Christmas Fair, Community Open Day, strawberry teas, musical recitals, American suppers and Bingo. It is a well-loved venue for weddings and baptisms.
The church is easily transformed into a large space for tables and is available to hire for events. The lovely Victorian building has an excellent acoustic and is spacious enough to accommodate an orchestra and chorus, as well as the sizeable audience that supports the Dover Prom. There is a fine Bevington organ and a grand piano.
The Church Hall nextdoor is available to hire separately: it has plenty of tables and chairs, a convenient fitted kitchen and a stage. There are Ladies, Gents and Disabled toilets with a baby-changing facility.
Parking is available on St Alphege Road and also in the Morrisons car park nearby.
